Lee Ki-sook, who specialized in oriental painting at Hongik University, incorporates originality by soaking black ink into Korean paper. The artist is particularly fascinated by petroglyphs, finding inspiration in the engraved lines that evoke a sense of primordial life and the accumulated history of nature. These elements are beautifully integrated into the artwork, where lines and dots entwine, representing the free expression of life and the inevitability of their interconnection. The blue background with inlay-like texture further emphasizes Korean sentiment in the artist's work.
