Lee Sang-yoon, the South Korean actor, has shared his gratitude for his experience playing a villainous character in the tvN series "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise." The 16-part drama, which concluded on Sunday with a 4.4 percent viewership rating, was created by star writer Kim Soon-ok and directed by Choi Hyeong-hun.
In the series, Lee played the character of Pyo Jae-hyun, a tech company CEO and husband to the lead character Hong Tae-ra, played by Lee Ji-ah. As the series unfolds, Hong seeks revenge on those who ruined her life, and Pyo is revealed to be running a secret, unethical human experiment for his business and has manipulated Hong's past.

Lee expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to work with the team again, having previously collaborated with director Choi on the 2021 comedy series "One the Woman." He also praised the script by writers Kim and Hyun, which allowed him to show different sides of himself that he had not previously explored in his acting career.
"I've collected good memories with the series as I work with such awesome fellow actors to create scenes and a fun working environment together. So it feels very bittersweet that the series has come to an end," Lee said in a statement.
Lee Ji-ah bid farewell to the series on her social media, posting a photo from the program's shooting and expressing her gratitude for the experience. Kwon Hyun-bin, who played Hong's brother, Cha Pill-sung, also expressed excitement about having worked on the series and the emotional connection he felt with his character.
Overall, "Pandora: Beneath the Paradise" has been a successful and memorable project for its cast and crew, showcasing the talents of its creators and actors and expanding Lee Sang-yoon's acting range.
