Among those featured in the leaked photos was Moon Seo-yoon, granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Chairwoman Lee Myung-hee and daughter of Shinsegae's department store business president, Chung Yoo-kyung. Moon Seo-yoon, born in 2002, is currently enrolled at Columbia University and has over 70,000 followers on Instagram. The leaked photos showed her posing alongside actress and model Ella Gross and pop choreographer Bailey Sok at a dance studio resembling The Black Label's.

Ella Gross, the only one officially represented by The Black Label, joined the label in 2018 at the age of 10. She gained recognition in 2018 for her resemblance to Blackpink member Jennie in viral photos.

In a press release on Tuesday, The Black Label, co-founded by producer Teddy Park in 2016, confirmed their preparations for the girl group launch in the first half of 2024. The label, affiliated with YG Entertainment, represents notable K-pop artists such as Jeon Somi, Taeyang, Zion.T, and actor Park Bo-gum. Teddy Park is renowned for producing songs for K-pop icons Big Bang and Blackpink. Further details about the new girl group will be disclosed at a later date.
