Zerobaseone, a nine-member K-pop group formed through Mnet’s idol survival reality show "Boys Planet," released their third EP, “You had me at HELLO,” on Monday. This album marks the conclusion of their “Youth” trilogy, following the million-selling EPs “Youth In The Shade” and “Melting Point.”

The first EP, “Youth In The Shade,” explored the theme of overcoming the hardships of youth, while “Melting Point” focused on the group’s commitment to protecting their fans, who helped them achieve their dreams of becoming K-pop artists.

The latest EP features seven tracks centered around the theme of youth falling in love at first sight. The title track, “You had me at HELLO,” is described as a bright and refreshing song aimed at relieving listeners' stress during the summer season. Zhang Hao, a member of the group, introduced the album at a press conference in Seoul.

A notable collaboration on the EP is with Young K of the K-pop band Day 6, who wrote the lyrics for the track “Hello.” Young K expressed in a video message that the song is dedicated to Zerobaseone’s fans, known as Zerose, and aims to strengthen the bond between the group and their supporters.

Zerobaseone acknowledged the support of their fans since their debut in July 2023. The group's leader, Sung Han-bin, highlighted the awards they won last year and announced plans for their first world tour in the second half of the year.

The members are also pursuing individual opportunities, such as emceeing TV music shows and contributing to soundtracks for Korean dramas. Kim Tae-rae, another member, performed “More than Enough” for the tvN drama “Queen of Tears.”

Sung Han-bin emphasized the importance of their third EP in defining the group’s future direction and expressed their aspirations for the grand prize at the MAMA Awards this year.
