Red Velvet will release a new mini album at the end of this month, confirmed label SM Entertainment on Tuesday. This release comes about seven months after their third studio album, “Chill Kill,” which topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 35 regions and sold over 410,000 copies in its first week.

The new album was anticipated for release in the second quarter of this year, according to the label’s plans announced last month.

On Sunday, member Joy was absent from recording her variety show due to filming a music video for the upcoming EP, which coincides with the group’s tenth anniversary, according to co-host Shin Dongyup.
