The upcoming album, "NJWMX," comprises 12 tracks, featuring remixed versions of two songs from the group's first single album, "OMG," and four from its debut EP, "New Jeans." ADOR, the group's agency, confirmed that the album will also include instrumental versions of all six remixed songs. Described as a special winter present for their fandom, known as Bunnies, the album aims to mark the occasion in style.
"Ditto," released on December 19, 2022, achieved significant success, amassing over 500 million streams on Spotify. The track secured NewJeans a coveted spot on the U.S. Billboard's Hot 100 and the British Official Singles Top 100, a noteworthy accomplishment within six months of their debut. Domestically, "Ditto" enjoyed an impressive 99-day reign at the top of the daily songs chart for the local music streaming platform Melon, setting a new record for the longest stay at No. 1 in the chart's history. The previous record of 75 consecutive days was held by K-pop supergroup BTS with "Dynamite" in 2020.
