Webtoon enthusiasts and superhero aficionados are eagerly anticipating the highly-anticipated release of "Moving," the hit webtoon series by renowned writer Kang Full, now transformed into a captivating Disney+ TV series. With an impressive record of 200 million views, the series has garnered immense popularity, and its adaptation to the small screen promises to deliver an extraordinary and heartwarming experience for viewers worldwide.

"Moving" introduces audiences to a world where seemingly ordinary individuals lead remarkable lives, concealing their hidden superpowers beneath the façade of everyday existence. The story revolves around the life of Lee Mi-hyeon, portrayed by the talented Han Hyo-ju, whose extraordinary physical abilities, including exceptional hearing, become the foundation of the plot. Lee Mi-hyeon finds love in the charming Kim Du-sik, portrayed by the esteemed actor Zo In-sung, who possesses the remarkable power of flight.

As their lives intertwine, Lee Mi-hyeon and Kim Du-sik decide to step back from their roles as intelligence agents to embrace a more ordinary life with the birth of their son, Kim Bong-seok, portrayed by the promising actor Lee Jeong-ha. However, the challenge of concealing their superpowers becomes increasingly difficult as Bong-seok encounters a schoolmate named Jang Hee-su, played by the talented Go Yun-jeong, who also harbors her own extraordinary abilities.

Director Park In-je, known for his masterful work on the Netflix series "Kingdom: Season 2," exudes confidence in "Moving" during a recent press conference. He states, "'Moving' is not just a superhero TV show; it encompasses elements of humanism that bring depth and relatability to the characters. It has been a meaningful opportunity for me to explore fresh stories in novel genres, unlike my previous works."

A noteworthy aspect of "Moving" lies in the fact that Kang Full has actively participated as the screenwriter for the TV adaptation. Originally consisting of 12 episodes in its webtoon format, Kang decided to expand the series to a total of 20 episodes for a more profound exploration of each character's personality and storyline.

Disney+'s "Moving" adds an exciting twist by introducing a new character, Jeon Kye-do, portrayed by the talented Cha Tae-hyeon. The character doesn't exist in the original webtoon, but Cha Tae-hyeon expressed his gratitude towards Kang Full for providing extensive insights into Kye-do's personality, allowing him to fully embody the role. Cha stated during the press conference, "Kang's depictions of Kye-do have been instrumental in helping me understand the character and portray him authentically."

Fans can mark their calendars for the thrilling premiere of "Moving" on Disney+ on August 8, followed by two new episodes airing on subsequent Tuesdays. With its unique blend of superhero spectacle and humanistic themes, "Moving" promises to captivate audiences of all ages, elevating the webtoon phenomenon to new heights on the silver screen.
