Kwon Eun-bi, the former member of renowned project girl group IZ*ONE, is ready to make her mark as a soloist with her debut single, "The Flash." Released on Wednesday, the song is tailor-made for the summer season, solidifying her position as the much-admired "summer queen" among fans. It marks her first album release in nearly 10 months since her third EP, "Lethality," last October.

After captivating the K-pop scene as part of IZ*ONE, the winning contestants of Mnet's audition program "Produce 48" in 2018, Kwon embarked on a separate path as a solo artist following the group's official disbandment in April 2021. Her remarkable talent and versatility have earned her the affectionate title of "summer queen," as she wowed audiences with her appearances at this year's Waterbomb Festival in both Seoul and Japan.

At the press showcase held at Blue Square in Yongsan District, central Seoul, Kwon expressed her gratitude for being associated with the spirit of summer. Embracing the title of "summer queen," she playfully suggested an alternative moniker: "summer Eunbi," an endearing nod to her name.

"The Flash" is a dynamic composition that blends intensive, glamorous, and refreshing sounds, offering a reprieve from the summer heat wave. The single includes three tracks, each showcasing different shades of her artistry. Among them, "Beautiful Night," a pop-rock track, features lyrics co-written by Kwon herself, showcasing her creative involvement in her solo debut.

Embracing the competitive nature of the summer comeback season in the K-pop industry, Kwon exuded confidence in her ability to stand out. As an artist with diverse talents and a penchant for exploring various genres, she sees herself as an all-around performer, capable of embracing everything from band music to electronic teen pop.

In the music video for "The Flash," Kwon can be seen running in various scenes, including a captivating moment on a bridge over the iconic Han River. The dedicated artist revealed that she put great effort into her acting skills, hinting at her openness to exploring acting opportunities in the future.

Reflecting on her journey as both a group member and now a solo artist, Kwon expressed her determination to continue growing and evolving in her craft. With her sights set on a bright and enduring career, she aspires to learn, improve, and captivate audiences for years to come. As she makes her debut as a soloist with "The Flash," Kwon Eun-bi's artistry promises to shine brightly, cementing her position as one of K-pop's most promising stars.
