Renowned Korean actor Lee Bo-young, known for her roles in popular titles like "I Can Hear Your Voice," leads the cast of a new mystery series titled "Hide."
The 12-part drama revolves around the character Na Mun-yeong, portrayed by Lee, who transitions from prosecutor to lawyer and encounters a series of ominous events following her husband's disappearance.
Based on the Welsh thriller television series "Keeping Faith," which aired on BBC One Wales in 2018, "Hide" presents an intricately crafted storyline.
Lee expressed initial doubts about playing the role, stating that the character's narrative in the drama unfolds amidst constant shocking events, leaving little room for traditional character development.

"Hide" marks Coupang Play's first original work to also air on television, with new episodes streaming on Coupang Play at 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The episodes are simultaneously broadcast on JTBC at 10:30 p.m. on the same days, with the first episode scheduled for release this Saturday.
Despite competition from other large-scale dramas airing at similar times on rival networks such as tvN and MBC, Lee expressed that she does not feel pressured about viewership ratings, contrasting with her previous work "Agency."
