Mnet's "Street Dance Girls Fighter" returns for its second season on Tuesday night, featuring a notable expansion in its participant demographics. Unlike the first season, the program now includes teenage dancers from abroad, introducing a diverse range of talents between the ages of 13 and 18.
The decision to include international dancers stems from the belief that dance serves as a universal form of communication, particularly in the context of language barriers. With the global popularity of K-pop, the producers sought to explore how dancers from different countries would synergize with their Korean counterparts, as explained by the program's producer, Hwang Sung-ho, during a press conference in Seoul.
