The idol, who has been undergoing treatment for back pains, recently experienced increased severity in his symptoms, prompting a follow-up inspection. According to the agency, doctors have advised him to avoid significant movements for the time being, leading Ju Haknyeon to make the decision to prioritize his health and focus on treatment and recovery.

As a result of his medical leave, Ju Haknyeon will be absent from promotional activities related to The Boyz's upcoming album, "Phantasy Part 2: Sixth Sense," scheduled for release on Monday. Additionally, he will not be participating in the band's concert in Seoul, set for December 1-3.
"Phantasy Part 2: Sixth Sense" is the second segment of The Boyz's three-part second studio album, following the release of "Christmas in August" approximately three months ago.
