K-pop boy band BTS’ debut 10th anniversary commemorative medal, released as a limited edition

Official commemorative medals to commemorate the 10th anniversary of BTS' debut was released domestically and internationally on the 16th.

“BTS” and the English names of the members were engraved on the front of the medal, and “2013”, the year they debuted, and “2023”, the 10th anniversary year, were engraved on both sides. This commemorative medal was produced by KOMSCO (the Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation).


The KOMSCO used the mint mark (marked with the mint country) with the number “10” in the star shape symbolizing a celebrity for the first time in the production of commemorative medals, and patterned and engraved the BTS logo on the entire background.

The "10" on the back of the medal is characterized by its mirror-like shine. This medal is released in two installments. The first medal released this time was made of three types of gold (1 ounce, ½ ounce, ¼ ounce) and one type of silver (½ ounce). Only 87,777 pieces are supplied worldwide.


In Korea, it will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at The KOMSCO shopping mall, weverseshop, Shinhan Bank, etc. For 10 days from this day of the 25th, and overseas, it will be sold on the G-Market global site.

Meanwhile, RM, the leader of BTS, uploaded a video of his small theater performance on SNS and YouTube on the 16th. In this video, RM was seen by 200 fans at the Rolling Hall in Mapo-GU, Seoul on the 5th. On his stage, RM passionately sang 10 songs, including “Wildflower Play”, the title song of his solo album “Indigo”, “Sexy Feeling” and “All Day” in front of fans. In particular, Korean-Canadian rapper Paul Blanco, Kim SA-Wol, Cold, and Cherry Filter's Cho Yoo-Jin participated as guests at this concert hall.


RM said, “I have been waiting for this moment for 10 years. I wanted to feel with you again why I started the music and how I started.”
