K-pop boy group DKB to Inspire and Unite Through Theme Song for Para Games and Korean National Sports Festival

BRAVE ENTERTAINMENT

In a groundbreaking move, DKB, a notable K-pop boy band managed by Brave Entertainment, will perform their specially crafted song, "The Wave," for an unprecedented audience at the upcoming 43rd National Para Games in South Jeolla this November. The song, also selected as the official theme for the 104th Korean National Sports Festival in October, embodies the themes of identity and competition, channeling the unique energy and spirit of DKB.

Brave Entertainment, the agency representing DKB, revealed in a recent press release that "The Wave" aims to captivate both K-pop enthusiasts from the MZ generation and the global public who appreciate Korean culture. This ambitious musical initiative represents a significant departure from tradition, as it is the first time a sporting event, other than the Olympics or the World Cup, will have its exclusive theme song.

The 43rd Para Games are scheduled to take place across various cities in South Jeolla from November 3 to November 8, while the 104th Korean National Sports Festival is set for October 13 to October 19. DKB, a nine-member ensemble consisting of E-Chan, D1, Teo, GK, Heechan, Lune, Junseo, Yuku, and Harry-June, made their debut in February 2020 with the hit track "Sorry Mama" from their EP "Youth," and they are primed to leave a lasting impression on these prestigious sporting events with their dynamic performance of "The Wave."
