Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min has been named as a nominee for the Premier League's Player of the Month award for March. The league revealed seven contenders for the monthly accolade on its website, highlighting Son's notable contributions throughout the month.
Son's performances in March included three goals and two assists in four matches, with his five-goal involvements ranking among the highest in the league for the month. Notably, he scored in Tottenham's victories over Crystal Palace and Luton Town, as well as contributing to a 4-0 win against Aston Villa.

The Korean star faces competition from Alexander Isak (Newcastle United), Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool), Rodrigo Muniz (Fulham), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth), and Ben White (Arsenal) for the award.
Leading Tottenham with 15 goals, Son shares the sixth position in the league's top scorers list. Additionally, he has provided eight assists, further emphasizing his importance to the team's offensive prowess.

Among current Premier League players, only Salah has earned more Player of the Month awards than Son. However, former Tottenham teammate Harry Kane and ex-Manchester City star Sergio Aguero hold the record for the most monthly awards, each with seven to their name.
