Kang Seungyoon, a prominent member of the popular K-pop group Winner, commenced his military duty on Tuesday, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Without a formal ceremony, Kang joined the basic training camp, capturing the moment by sharing a photo of his haircut on Instagram. In his post, the musician expressed his determination to protect the country and assured fans of his safe return.

As the youngest member and leader of Winner, Kang is the final member of the group to fulfill his military obligations. His fellow bandmates, Kim Jinwoo and Lee Seunghoon, have already completed their military service as social service agents, while Song Mino has been serving since March.

Kang first gained recognition through a 2010 audition program, which propelled him into the spotlight. He later made his debut as a member of Winner in 2014. In addition to his musical pursuits, Kang has showcased his versatility by appearing in numerous sitcoms and dramas.

With Kang Seungyoon's enlistment, the group's members are now actively pursuing their individual paths while maintaining their unwavering dedication to their craft.
