Despite being a Japanese ensemble, XG is deeply rooted in the Korean K-pop industry, having undergone training within its rigorous idol system. Marketed as a K-pop act, the seven-member girl group, signed to the Japanese label Xgalx, has garnered international recognition, having graced the stages of various music festivals worldwide.

Notably, the title track from their third single, "Left Right," secured a position on Rolling Stone's prestigious list of the top 100 songs of 2023.
