Enhypen Unveils Track List for Upcoming EP 'Orange Blood'

K-pop Group Continues 'Blood' Series with New Album

Belift Lab

Belift Lab, the agency representing K-pop group Enhypen, has revealed the tracklist for their upcoming EP, "Orange Blood."

The title track, "Sweet Venom," follows the storyline initiated by their previous title song, "Bite Me," from the EP "Dark Blood." "Sweet Venom" narrates a tale of unwavering love, even in the face of life-threatening circumstances. The song's lyrics convey a boy's commitment to stand by his lover, referred to as "you," despite the presence of lethal poison in his body.

"Sweet Venom" will be available in three versions, including the main Korean edition, where member Jay contributed to the lyrics. The album will also feature an English version and a special collaborative edition with American singer Bella Poarch, which will be released exclusively in digital format.

Enhypen is set to release "Orange Blood," their fifth EP, on November 17. This album is a continuation of the "blood" series that began with their previous release, "Dark Blood."

In this installment of the series, the narrative revolves around the boy's profound joy and love upon reuniting with his lover, "you." He pledges his unwavering commitment to be with her, as stated by the agency.

The album forms part of the agency's commitment to develop "the next entertainment," encompassing a diverse range of Enhypen content beyond music.

Similar to "Dark Blood," this new album incorporates elements from the group's web-comic series, "Dark Moon: The Blood Altar," a fantasy-romance thriller inspired by the members and featuring them.

The four side-tracks on the album, namely "Mortal," "Still Monster," "Far Away," and "Orange Flower (You Complete Me)," will draw inspiration from the web-comic series, adding depth to the album's narrative.

Renowned star producers Slow Rabbit and Pdogg, known for their work with top K-pop acts such as BTS and Tomorrow X Together, have contributed to the album. Slow Rabbit is credited on "Sweet Venom," while Pdogg is credited on "Still Monster."

Enhypen, a multinational group, made their debut in November 2020 under Belift Lab, a subsidiary label of Hybe Corporation, the company behind BTS. They were formed through the Hybe and Mnet audition program, "I-Land."

An online preview clip for "Orange Blood" will be released on Saturday.
