IU, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, declared an upcoming encore concert scheduled for September at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, the second-largest stadium in Korea. The announcement took place at the conclusion of her final concert in Seoul on Sunday.

The Seoul World Cup Stadium, also known as the Sangam World Cup Stadium, located in Mapo District, western Seoul, will host the two-day encore concert on September 21 and 22. During her Sunday concert at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul, IU shared her plans for the encore, emphasizing that it would be both similar and distinct from her previous performances. She highlighted the venue's capacity to seat even more people, creating an opportunity for an enhanced concert experience.

The Seoul World Cup Stadium, with a seating capacity of approximately 66,000, ranks as the second-largest stadium in Korea, trailing only the Seoul Olympic Stadium, which is currently undergoing renovation and accommodates almost 70,000.

This announcement follows IU's successful "The Golden Hour" concert held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium in 2022, underscoring her continued popularity and capacity to attract large audiences.
