Red Velvet, the South Korean girl group, is preparing to release their seventh extended play (EP) titled “Cosmic” on June 24 at 6 p.m., as announced by SM Entertainment. The upcoming album will feature six tracks, described by the agency as reflective of Red Velvet's distinctive musical style and well-suited for summer listening. This release will be their first in seven months, following the launch of their third full-length album, “Chill Kill,” in November 2023.

In addition to the album, Red Velvet will be celebrating their 10th anniversary. The group debuted in August 2014 with their single “Happiness” and has since gained recognition for numerous hit songs such as “Red Flavor,” “Power Up,” “Umpah Umpah,” and “Queendom.” To mark this milestone, the group has scheduled events and promotional activities for their fans.

Red Velvet recently completed their fourth world tour, "R to V," which commenced in Seoul on April 1, 2023. The tour included stops in several cities, including Singapore, Bangkok, and Paris, and concluded in London on June 6, 2023.

Red Velvet's seventh EP “Cosmic” will be released on June 24, 2024.
