Champagne EPC has announced its third limited edition collaboration, this time partnering with Los Pepes Studio, a Portuguese street art duo comprised of artists Meggie Prata and Francisco Leal. The champagne house selected these artists through a community-driven voting process that attracted more than 20,000 participants, demonstrating the brand's commitment to engaging its customer base in creative decisions.
This exclusive limited edition consists of 1,000 individually numbered bottles, each featuring a unique label designed as a visual puzzle incorporating hidden symbols and messages. The collaboration aims to merge the graphic universe of street art with an innovative approach to champagne presentation, creating a distinctive collector's item that appeals to both wine enthusiasts and art lovers.
The wine selected for this artistic partnership is a 2015 vintage Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, sourced exclusively from a single vineyard plot located in Oger, a prestigious commune in the Champagne region of France. This single-parcel cuvée showcases the precision and elegance of Champagne Chardonnay in its purest expression, reflecting the terroir's unique characteristics through careful vineyard selection and winemaking expertise.
To celebrate the launch, Los Pepes will perform a live painting demonstration on two EPC Methuselah bottles during Paris Design Week on September 7th at Espace Commines. This public art performance will allow attendees to witness the creative process behind the collaboration while experiencing the intersection of contemporary street art and traditional champagne craftsmanship.
The Los Pepes x EPC limited edition is available for purchase at 105 euros including tax through the official EPC champagne website. This collaboration represents the champagne house's ongoing commitment to supporting contemporary artists while offering collectors a unique fusion of premium wine and street art culture.
