Emerging Artists Take Center Stage at Gallery We's 2024 Young Artist Contest Exhibition

Gallery We is set to host the 2024 Young Artist Contest Winners Exhibition from December 11, 2024, to January 11, 2025, showcasing the works of eight promising young artists selected for their originality and potential. The exhibition aims to promote their creations, support their artistic endeavors, and provide a platform for expanding their global networks.

Organized by the International Youth Artists Association and supported by the Korean Fine Arts Association, the contest recognized Grand Prize winner Jeong Yun Young, Excellence Award recipients Kim Young Jin, Moon Jihye, Shin Jiah, and Yang Won Cheul, as well as Artist Award winners Inn Shin Young, Hagomi, and Haun Caeha. These artists were chosen for their innovative approaches and compelling artistic voices.

The exhibition will feature a diverse array of works that reflect each artist's unique perspective and creative vision. Visitors to Gallery We will have the opportunity to experience the fresh and dynamic energy of contemporary art through paintings, installations, and multimedia pieces that push the boundaries of traditional art forms.

Following the exhibition, the award-winning artists plan to engage directly with the public through participation in both domestic and international art fairs. Scheduled appearances include the 2024 Pink Art Fair, the 2025 ART FUTURE in Taiwan, and the 2025 Korea Galleries Art Fair. These events will allow the artists to broaden their reach and connect with a global audience.

Grand Prize winner Jeong Yun Young is also slated to hold a solo exhibition at Gallery We in the first half of 2025. This upcoming show will delve deeper into the themes and messages that permeate her work, offering a more comprehensive understanding of her artistic journey.
