South Korean company Pampam Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of its new art auction service, Pampam Art Gallery, set to officially open in February 2025. The service will be integrated into Pampam’s existing luxury resale platform, pampam, leveraging advanced technology to redefine art transactions.

Pampam Art Gallery is designed to provide a secure and transparent marketplace for trading artworks by renowned artists. The platform employs Pampam’s proprietary digital certification and blockchain technology, ensuring the authenticity and integrity of all transactions.

The service’s digital certification system verifies seller identities and records artwork details and transaction histories on a blockchain network. This system prevents tampering and guarantees the authenticity of the artworks. Buyers will also receive ownership verification upon receiving their purchased pieces, enabled through embedded identification chips, which authenticate both ownership and the originality of the artwork.

Lee Jae Sung, COO of Pampam, highlighted the platform’s potential: “Pampam Art Gallery aims to create new value in the art world by offering a secure and trustworthy space for artists and buyers to connect. Building on our expertise in celebrity-owned item auctions and charitable sales, we are committed to enhancing exposure for artists and providing collectors with the joy of owning unique pieces of art.”

The platform is currently inviting artists to join its network. Pampam Art Gallery promotes an inclusive environment, welcoming emerging and mid-career artists to showcase their work. Through fair evaluations and promotional support, the service aims to bring a diverse range of artworks to a broader audience.

Artists interested in joining the platform can apply via the partnership inquiry section on Pampam’s official website. The company’s focus on creating an open and equitable platform underscores its mission to democratize access to art and foster greater engagement between artists and collectors.

By combining cutting-edge blockchain technology with a commitment to transparency and security, Pampam Art Gallery positions itself as a game-changer in the art auction market. With its February launch on the horizon, the platform is poised to redefine the art trading experience for both artists and collectors alike.
