SteelSeries, the world’s first gaming gear brand, successfully hosted the SteelSeries x T1 Fan Meeting to celebrate T1’s recent victory at the League of Legends World Championship. This special event, held on December 8, marked another milestone in SteelSeries' four-year partnership with the esports giant T1.
The fan meeting took place at T1’s base camp and invited lucky participants who were selected through a raffle. Eligible participants were drawn from customers who made purchases over ₩50,000 on SteelSeries’ official Naver store between November 28 and December 2.
T1 players Choi Hyun Joon (Doran), Moon Hyun Joon (Oner), Lee Sang Hyeok (Faker), and Lee Min Hyung (Gumayusi) attended the event, which featured a range of engaging activities in two main sessions. The first session, titled SteelSeries AIM MASTER Competition, included a gaming challenge where winners received exclusive prizes such as the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless White Gaming Headset for first place, the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 Gaming Keyboard for second place, and the Arctis Nova 5 Headset for third place. Additional prizes, including SteelSeries headsets and mousepads, were distributed during the event.
The second session was dedicated to direct interaction with fans through a talk show and Q&A segment, where T1 players shared heartfelt messages and answered questions from the audience. Highlights included a mini-game involving the winners of the AIM MASTER competition and a photo session with the players, creating lasting memories for attendees.
Lee Hye Kyung, Managing Director of SteelSeries Korea, expressed the significance of the event, saying, “SteelSeries has proudly partnered with T1 for four years, and we look forward to strengthening our collaboration. This fan meeting was designed to create meaningful interactions between T1 players and their fans, and we’re thrilled it brought so much joy to everyone involved.”
SteelSeries has been a pioneering brand in esports sponsorship since 2002, supporting professional players, teams, and tournaments worldwide. Their collaboration with T1, who secured the 2024 League of Legends World Championship title, reflects their commitment to empowering the esports community. In addition to T1, SteelSeries sponsors major esports events like the FC Online eK League Championship Season 2 and the Overwatch Champions Series Korea Stage 2, reinforcing their position as a leader in the gaming industry.
