Artist Song Ha Ram, a 2013-born Alpha Generation artist, will hold his first solo art exhibition on February 14 and 15 at Hwayukil (화육일), an exhibition space located in the Samcheong-dong Cultural District in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

Titled "Expression – Faces of the Circus," the exhibition explores the complexity of human emotions through a series of circus-themed characters. The exhibition expands upon Song’s pictorial universe of "Isaac," a clown character, and introduces various circus troupe members whose expressions reflect the multifaceted nature of human emotions.

A total of 12 artworks will be displayed, including 7 traditional paintings and 5 digital works. The pieces delve into themes of joy, sorrow, fear, and solitude, all embodied through the unique facial expressions of the circus performers. In addition to the artwork, the exhibition will feature a special section for limited-edition merchandise, including framed prints, photo cards, hot packs, an OST album, and a calendar. Interactive on-site events will also be held for visitors.

As an artist who belongs to the Alpha Generation, Song Ha Ram has grown up in an era dominated by digital culture and ubiquitous technology. His artistic approach bridges both digital and analog mediums, demonstrating a unique perspective on contemporary visual storytelling.

Regarding the exhibition, Song stated, "Every person carries a wide range of expressions. A clown’s face does not solely represent joy—it also embodies sadness, fear, and loneliness. Through this exhibition, I wanted to capture these subtle inner emotions and present them to the audience as a source of empathy and comfort."

The exhibition will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with free admission. Further information, including venue details, can be accessed via a QR code provided on-site.
