100FUN Korea (100FUNKR) officially launched its new MMORPG BladeM on September 20, promising a simplified gaming experience while offering diverse content to its players. Designed for those who love MMORPGs but seek a more streamlined approach, BladeM provides a fresh take on the genre with easy-to-use systems and accessible content.
Unlike traditional MMORPGs that often involve complex mechanics and time-consuming tasks, BladeM emphasizes minimalism in its game structure. The game features seven unique character classes, each with distinct playstyles and abilities. These include the sword-wielding Knight, the quick and nimble Rogue, the mystical Shaman who communicates with gods, and the powerful Mage classes such as the Sage and Sorceress, as well as the formidable Valkyrie inspired by Norse mythology.
Key features of BladeM include a robust reward system that allows players to grow their characters simply by completing in-game quests and receiving free rewards. The game also introduces a unique Spirit System, which lets players summon legendary figures like Lu Bu and Sun Wukong to assist in overcoming difficult battles. These mythological spirits bring a strategic edge to combat, allowing players to quickly tackle high-difficulty missions.
Players can also enjoy a variety of mounts for fast travel, including fantastical creatures like Red Nightmare Beasts and Ice-Flower Foxes, as well as more unexpected mounts like Excavators. The game’s pet system adds further personalization, featuring mystical animals such as the nine-tailed fox Gumiho and trendy pets like the Hip-Hop Husky, complete with modern streetwear.
On top of these innovative systems, BladeM allows players to collect themed gear sets by defeating certain bosses or clearing challenging missions. These gear sets range from pirate outfits to futuristic Mecha armor, blending traditional martial arts and fantasy with futuristic sci-fi elements, expanding the game’s diverse universe.
A representative from 100FUN Korea emphasized that BladeM is designed for players who enjoy fast-paced growth without the burden of overly complicated gameplay. “Our goal was to create a game that MMORPG fans could easily pick up and enjoy while offering exciting growth mechanics,” said the spokesperson. “We’ve put a lot of effort into localizing the game for different regions and will continue to offer various promotions to ensure an enjoyable gaming experience for all players.”
