JYP Entertainment announced on the 11th that TWICE is set to return with a fresh, kitschy sound through their upcoming mini-album, Strategy. The agency shared a teaser logo motion video on TWICE’s official channel, hinting at the release of the title track of the same name on December 6.
The logo motion exudes a playful charm, showing a claw machine filled with bright red hearts, from which the album title Strategy floats to the surface. As the video concludes, viewers get a taste of a bouncy melody and an intense beat, setting the tone for what’s anticipated to be an energetic and catchy track.
Strategy will feature none other than Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion, marking another major collaboration for TWICE. This partnership isn’t entirely new; earlier this year, TWICE participated in a remix version of Megan’s hit song MAMU. Known for winning awards at the Grammys, American Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards, Megan’s collaboration adds a new layer of international appeal to TWICE’s album.
In addition to their album release, TWICE is also gearing up to hit the global stage. They are set to perform as a special guest at Coldplay’s much-anticipated concert in South Korea, the British band’s first performance there in eight years. This exciting collaboration with one of the world’s top bands underscores TWICE’s growing impact on the global music scene.
The album, dropping at 2 p.m. KST (midnight EST) on December 6, promises to showcase TWICE’s evolving musicality. JYP Entertainment shared that Strategy represents a fresh chapter in the group’s journey, blending their distinct style with a playful twist that resonates with a global audience.
TWICE’s latest work arrives as they continue to push boundaries and experiment with new sounds. Following the success of previous albums and their impact on major charts, Strategy is expected to captivate fans worldwide with its lively and vibrant character.
