NCT’s Mark is set to introduce his first solo album through a special showcase event, giving fans an exclusive look into the project.
On April 7 at 8 PM (KST), Mark will host "The Firstfruit Showcase" at Seongsu Culture and Arts Square FB Theater in Seoul. The event will also be live-streamed via YouTube and Weverse, ensuring global fans can participate in the experience.
The showcase concept is inspired by the theme of a city, which serves as a key motif in the album. Designed as a journey through an airport terminal, the event represents searching for new destinations—a metaphor for Mark’s artistic exploration. He will premiere performances of his new songs, including the title track "1999."
A listening session will also be held earlier that day at 4 PM at the same venue, allowing attendees to preview the album before its official release. This pre-release event will extend beyond Seoul, with additional sessions planned in select Asian cities.
Mark’s solo album, "The Firstfruit," draws inspiration from four cities—Toronto, New York, Vancouver, and Seoul—places that have played a significant role in his life. The album reflects his journey, incorporating experiences and emotions tied to these locations.
The album features a total of 13 tracks, including the title song "1999" and the pre-release single "+82 Pressin." The tracklist promises a diverse range of sounds that capture Mark’s distinct musical identity.
Before the full album drops, Mark will unveil "+82 Pressin" on March 19 at 6 PM (KST), offering a glimpse into his solo artistry ahead of the official release.
With "The Firstfruit," Mark embarks on a deeply personal and musically rich journey, making his solo debut a highly anticipated moment in his career.
