BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has officially announced her return with a new solo mini-album, "AMORTAGE," set for release on February 14 at 2 PM (KST). The album promises a fresh artistic direction, showcasing a new side of the singer.

At midnight on January 31, Jisoo’s agency, BLISU, unveiled the title poster for "AMORTAGE" on its official social media channels. The first visual teaser features Jisoo in a cropped top and ponytail, exuding a soft yet captivating charm.

The album title, "AMORTAGE," is a combination of the French word "Amor" (meaning "love") and "Montage," a cinematic technique often used to construct a narrative. The name hints at an emotionally rich and visually striking musical experience.

A representative from BLISU shared insights into the project, stating, “Jisoo’s unique artistic sensibility is fully captured in this album. ‘AMORTAGE’ will reveal her multifaceted charms and a new chapter in her musical journey.”

The comeback comes amid a busy schedule for Jisoo. She is also set to appear in the upcoming Coupang Play series, "Newtopia," which premieres on February 7. With both an acting project and a highly anticipated album on the horizon, fans are eager to see Jisoo’s evolution as an artist.

Jisoo previously made a successful solo debut with "ME" in 2023, achieving record-breaking sales for a female K-pop soloist. As she returns with "AMORTAGE," industry experts are watching closely to see if she will once again set new benchmarks in the global music market.

With its cinematic concept and the promise of Jisoo’s signature storytelling, "AMORTAGE" is expected to further establish her as a versatile solo artist, beyond her identity as a BLACKPINK member. The global music industry and fans alike are keenly awaiting its release.
