Stray Kids has added another milestone to their career, securing their eighth Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

On January 31 (local time), the RIAA updated its Gold & Platinum certifications list on its official website, revealing that Stray Kids’ 2022 mini-album MAXIDENT has been certified Gold. This certification signifies that the album has sold over 500,000 units in the United States.

The RIAA grants certifications based on sales milestones: Gold (500,000 units), Platinum (1,000,000 units), Multi-Platinum (2,000,000 units), and Diamond (10,000,000 units). With MAXIDENT now achieving Gold status, Stray Kids further solidifies its presence in the U.S. music market.

This latest achievement brings the group’s total RIAA Gold-certified works to eight. Their previous certifications include singles God’s Menu, MANIAC, Back Door, and Thunderous, as well as albums 5-STAR, ROCK-STAR, and ODDINARY. The addition of MAXIDENT further underscores their growing influence on the global music scene.

Released in October 2022, MAXIDENT features a distinct musical identity shaped by Stray Kids’ in-house production team, 3RACHA—consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. All members contributed to the album’s songwriting and production, reinforcing their commitment to self-produced music. The eight-track record showcases the group’s signature energy and artistry, earning both critical and commercial acclaim.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids is gearing up for their world tour ‘DOMINATE’, set to kick off in March. The tour is expected to further cement their status as one of the leading forces in K-pop’s global expansion.

With continuous record-breaking achievements and a steadily growing international fanbase, Stray Kids’ momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
