Popular K-pop girl group Le Sserafim will join the star-studded lineup for ABC's iconic New Year's Eve celebration, bringing Korean pop music to one of America's most-watched year-end television events. The network announced on Tuesday that the group will perform alongside the musical artists behind Netflix's hit animated film "KPop Demon Hunters" during the annual broadcast.
ABC confirmed through its social media channels that Le Sserafim will take the stage during "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026." The show will also feature Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, who are the real-world performers behind the fictional in-film girl group Huntr/x from the popular Netflix animated movie.
The legendary television special has been a cornerstone of American New Year's Eve celebrations since 1972, broadcasting live from the heart of New York City's Times Square. Each year, millions of viewers tune in to watch the famous ball drop ceremony and enjoy performances from top musical acts as the nation welcomes the new year.
This year's impressive lineup extends beyond the K-pop acts, featuring global superstars including Grammy Award-winning artist Mariah Carey, chart-topping rapper and singer Post Malone, and rising pop sensation Chappell Roan. The diverse roster showcases the broad appeal of the long-running program.
According to Source Music, Le Sserafim's management agency, the group is scheduled to perform two of their popular tracks during the broadcast. The setlist will include "Crazy" and "Spaghetti," both songs that have gained significant popularity among international fans and helped establish the group's presence in the global music market.
The appearance marks a significant milestone for Le Sserafim as they continue to expand their reach in the American entertainment market. Their inclusion in such a high-profile American television event demonstrates the growing influence of K-pop culture and its increasing mainstream acceptance in the United States.
