Suga, a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, has launched his first solo world tour as a solo artist in the United States, according to his agency, BigHit Music. The "Suga | Agust D-Day" tour began on Wednesday at the UBS Arena in Belmont, New York, and will take him to nine cities around the world, including Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and South Korea for two months.
During the tour, the rapper will perform tracks from his first official solo album, "D-Day," which he released under his other stage name, Agust D, as well as songs from his mixtapes "Agust D" (2016) and "D-2" (2020), which together make up his "Agust D" trilogy.

According to BigHit Music, the tour will focus on the stories of Suga before and after his debut, and showcase the changes he has undergone as well as the Agust D trilogy. Suga expressed his excitement for the tour, which is also the first solo world tour by a BTS member.
The U.S. section of the tour will continue in Newark, Rosemont, Los Angeles and Oakland until May 17. Suga will then perform in Asia before wrapping up the tour in South Korea on July 10.
