Return to Music Marks Singer's First Solo Release Since 2020 Single "Bird"

Choi Creative Lab, the agency representing Kim Nam-joo of Apink, announced on Thursday that the singer is set to make a comeback to her singing career with a solo album after a four-year hiatus. Kim's last solo music release was the single "Bird" in 2020.

A graphic featuring Kim's initials, K, N, and J, was shared on the singer's social media page on Wednesday. However, no additional details, including the release date or title, were disclosed regarding her upcoming music.

Kim Nam-joo entered the music scene as a member of the girl group Apink, debuting under IST Entertainment in 2011 with the EP "Seven Springs of Apink." Following her group activities, she embarked on her solo career with the release of the single "Bird" in 2020. Kim has also ventured into acting, making her debut in the web drama "Detective Alice" in 2015 and later starring in the musical "Midnight Sun" in 2022.

Additionally, Kim collaborates with the DIA TV label for her YouTube channel, where she shares content such as song covers and vlogs.
