ILLIT will appear on Fuji TV’s year-end music programme FNS Music Festival for the third consecutive year.

According to Belift Lab on Nov. 3, the group will perform during the first night of the 2026 edition, scheduled to air on Dec. 2. Launched in 1974, FNS Music Festival is one of Japan’s major year-end music programmes.

ILLIT first appeared on the annual programme in 2024, before making its official Japanese debut. Including this year’s summer special, the upcoming broadcast will mark the group’s fourth appearance on the programme.

The group has also recorded several streaming and sales milestones in Japan. Its debut single “Magnetic” received a Triple Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan after surpassing 300 million streams.

Japanese original track “Almond Chocolate” exceeded 100 million streams and earned a Platinum certification.

“It’s Me,” released in April, ranked ninth on Oricon’s weekly streaming chart dated Nov. 2 and No. 13 on Billboard Japan’s Hot 100 dated Oct. 28. The group’s second Japanese single, I Got Your Back, surpassed 100000 shipments within three days of release and received a Gold certification.

ILLIT also completed its first Japanese tour, PRESS START♥︎, selling out every date and drawing approximately 60000 attendees. The group is scheduled to hold encore concerts at LaLa Arena Tokyo-Bay in Chiba Prefecture in December.

Meanwhile, “I’ll Arrest You,” the title track from ILLIT’s fifth EP released on Oct. 26, entered Apple Music’s Today’s Top 100: Global chart at No. 67 on Oct. 27. It rose to No. 12 by Nov. 1.
