Namwon City in North Jeolla Province will hold the digital media exhibition “Korean Heritage in Light” at Piorium from Oct. 7 to Nov. 2.
The exhibition will present Korean national heritage through immersive digital content, covering subjects ranging from Joseon royal ceremonies and processions to traditional crafts and natural heritage.
Featured works include “Scenes of a Joseon Royal Procession,” which reconstructs a ceremonial royal procession, and “Time of Shimmering Light,” a digital video based on the visual qualities of traditional mother-of-pearl craft.
The exhibition forms part of Namwon’s efforts to present traditional culture through contemporary media and broaden public access to heritage content.
