The breakout single "Golden" from Netflix's animated film "K-pop Demon Hunters" has climbed back to the number one position on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100. The track jumped two positions from the previous week, marking its ninth non-consecutive week at the top of the British charts.

Performed by Korean American artists Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami under the fictional girl group name Huntr/x from the animated film, "Golden" initially entered the charts at number 93 back in June. The song's impressive chart performance demonstrates the growing international appeal of K-pop influenced content from streaming platforms.

The resurgence of "Golden" pushed Taylor Swift's "The Fate of Ophelia" down to second place, ending Swift's three-week consecutive reign at the top of the charts. This shift highlights the competitive nature of the current music landscape, where soundtrack music can successfully challenge established pop superstars.

Other tracks from the "K-pop Demon Hunters" soundtrack also maintained strong chart positions this week. "How It's Done" secured the tenth spot, while "What It Sounds Like" claimed thirteenth place. Additionally, "Takedown," performed by the popular K-pop girl group TWICE, appeared at number 92 on the chart.

The success extends beyond the Netflix soundtrack, with several other K-pop acts making their mark on the British charts. Le Sserafim entered the chart at 46th position with their latest release "Spaghetti," marking another milestone for the group's international expansion. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's Rosé continued her remarkable chart longevity with "APT.," which ranked 66th and has now maintained its presence on the UK charts for an impressive 54 consecutive weeks, demonstrating the sustained global interest in K-pop music.
