Park Bom, a former member of the popular K-pop girl group 2NE1, has intensified her public feud with YG Entertainment by making new allegations against her former agency. The singer claims the company mistreated her and damaged her physical appearance, though she quickly deleted the controversial social media posts after uploading them on Thursday.
The latest incident follows Park Bom's recent headline-making accusations against YG Entertainment earlier this week. She had previously shared a handwritten legal complaint on social media, alleging that YG founder and producer Yang Hyun-suk withheld her earnings. The document contained what appeared to be an astronomical and incomprehensible figure of approximately 4.5 quadrillion won in claimed damages.
Park Bom's current agency, D-Nation Entertainment, has publicly denied that any lawsuit was actually filed against YG Entertainment. The company also stated that all earnings from Park Bom's 2NE1 activities have been settled in full, contradicting her claims of unpaid compensation. Despite these clarifications and the agency's announcement that Park was taking time off for medical treatment and recovery, the singer returned to social media less than 24 hours later with a new series of posts targeting her former label.
In her most recent social media posts, which were formatted as memo-style images, Park Bom made several shocking claims about her treatment at YG Entertainment. She wrote, "They made my face look awful – just for laughs," and added, "Come to think of it, YG never paid for my surgeries. The few I did were out of my own pocket. I went on stage looking like an ordinary person." These statements suggest she believes the company was responsible for cosmetic procedures that negatively affected her appearance.
Park Bom's allegations extended beyond her physical appearance to claims about her creative contributions to the company. She asserted, "Park Bom wrote all of YG's songs. They locked me up like a one-eyed person and made me write everything," suggesting she was the uncredited songwriter behind many of the label's hits. She also expressed frustration with her treatment as a performer, stating, "Even when I sing my heart out, it's never enough."
Perhaps the most puzzling claim in Park Bom's recent posts was her assertion about missed business opportunities. She alleged that she had been offered more than 4,000 advertisement deals, all of which were subsequently reassigned to other artists by YG Entertainment. This particular claim has left many fans confused and concerned, as the number seems unusually high for any individual artist.
The erratic nature of Park Bom's social media behavior has generated significant alarm among her fanbase and the broader K-pop community. Screenshots of her deleted posts quickly circulated online, with many followers expressing deep concern about her mental and physical well-being. The pattern of posting controversial content and then quickly deleting it has become a recurring theme in her recent social media activity.
Park Bom officially suspended her group activities in August due to health issues, with her agency D-Nation Entertainment announcing at the time that she would be focusing entirely on treatment and recovery. However, her continued social media activity and public disputes with YG Entertainment suggest that her break from the entertainment industry has not provided the respite that many had hoped for her well-being.
