Partsparts Unveils Fall-Winter 2024 Line Embracing Muted Luxury and Sustainable Fashion

Renowned womenswear designer Im Seon-oc showcased her latest collection at Seoul Fashion Week on Saturday, highlighting her distinctive use of neoprene in vibrant shades of pink, red, and lavender.

The fall-winter 2024 collection by Partsparts embodied a theme of muted luxury, presenting a "uniform for city life." Im's design approach featured long-sleeve tops and draped trousers with minimal embellishments, emphasizing a balance between practicality and originality.

Im, a 62-year-old designer, is well-known for her commitment to sustainability and the "zero waste" concept. During the show at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, she reiterated the importance of innovation and practicality in clothing, signaling her continued dedication to neoprene as a defining element of her brand.

Having entered the fashion scene in 2021, Im Seon-oc has been a pioneer in addressing the environmental impact of fashion. Her "zero waste" philosophy goes beyond rhetoric, as she transforms leftover fabric scraps into bags and accessories, contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry.

Seoul Fashion Week, a five-day event that began on Thursday, is set to continue through Monday at DDP and SFactory, showcasing a diverse array of designers and their contributions to the evolving landscape of global fashion.
