NCT's Taeyong Releases Second Solo EP, "Tap"

Taeyong, a prominent member of the K-pop group NCT, unveiled his second solo EP, titled "Tap," on Monday, according to a statement from his label, SM Entertainment.

The musician, responsible for penning all the lyrics and co-writing the melodies for the six tracks on the album, expressed that "Tap" showcases various aspects of his identity and conveys messages he aims to share with his audience. In comparison to his previous mini album, Taeyong noted that this new release allows for a more expansive and candid exploration of his thoughts and feelings.

Describing the EP as a "result" of a decade-long journey dedicated to his musical aspirations, Taeyong stated, "I have been asking myself what kind of artist I am, searching for an answer, and this album will give one."

The artist shared insights into the creative process, emphasizing the significant effort invested over the years. To mark the release of "Tap," Taeyong performed songs from the EP, including the titular track, during his inaugural solo concert in Seoul over the weekend.

Taeyong's artistic evolution, as showcased in his latest solo endeavor, reflects a multifaceted approach to his craft, providing fans with an opportunity to witness the culmination of his creative exploration and dedication over the past decade.
