Elisa Bertaglia, an Italian artist currently residing and working in the creative hub of Brooklyn, New York, has been a cherished talent under the SARAHCROWN umbrella since 2016. Her art delves into profound philosophical themes using a dreamlike and eclectic language. She explores the contemporary notion of symbolism through the lenses of nature, duality, and memory, offering both an intimate and collective perspective.

Bertaglia's latest creations, infused with precious metals such as gold, rose gold, and copper, deepen her exploration of thresholds and metamorphosis. These precious metals, with their reflective and iridescent surfaces, not only serve as the backdrop of her paintings but also play an integral role in shaping the artwork itself. They stand in stark contrast to the opaque, enigmatic layers of paint, embodying the very essence of the themes she explores.

Her works have found permanent homes in collections across the globe, including the Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation, the City Archives of Milan, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Penne, Italy. Her art has graced the walls of galleries, museums, and institutions worldwide, including the Guggenheim Museum in Venice, Italy; the Borges Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Saitama, Japan, among many others.
