Originating as a not-for-profit international day in Turkey in 2012, Global Wellness Day has become a global movement dedicated to promoting the philosophy of "living well." Now celebrated annually on the second Saturday of June, this transformative day has garnered participation from 110 nations, including Israel, Italy, Kenya, New Zealand, and Korea.
In Korea, Global Wellness Day has been joyously embraced since 2018, captivating wellness enthusiasts across the nation. With its awe-inspiring landscapes and commitment to holistic well-being, Gangwon serves as an ideal backdrop for this profound celebration of self-care and mindful living.
Additionally, Oak Valley resort is thrilled to introduce a captivating social media event for attendees. Participants are encouraged to capture a "confident" photograph of themselves practicing yoga or meditating at the designated GWD photo op spots and share it on Instagram with the following hashtags in Korean: #OakValley, #GlobalWellnessDay, and #OakValleyGlobalWellnessDay.
