The Broadway production of "Maybe Happy Ending" is slated to open on Oct. 17 at the Belasco Theatre, with previews beginning on Sept. 18. The cast features Darren Criss, known for his role in "Glee" and recipient of Emmy and Golden Globe awards, alongside Helen J. Shen, who will be making her Broadway debut. Tony Award-winner Michael Arden serves as the director, with Jeffrey Richards, Hunter Arnold, and Criss acting as producers.

The storyline of "Maybe Happy Ending" revolves around two abandoned robots, Oliver (portrayed by Criss) and Claire (played by Shen), embarking on a journey to find Oliver's human owner, James.

Reportedly, "Maybe Happy Ending" was originally written in both Korean and English. Park and Aronson, the creators of the musical, have been behind several successful new musicals in Korea, including the recent historical production "Il Tenore," which premiered last year.
