Singer and actor Kim Jong-hyeon, also known as JR, is gearing up for the release of his second EP, "Brilliant Seasons," scheduled to drop on January 3, according to his agency Evermore Entertainment.
This marks Kim's first album in over a year and two months, following the release of his debut EP, "Meridiem," on November 8, 2022. The upcoming album is themed around life's seasons, with Kim expressing that "everything happens to make life brilliant in the end," as conveyed by his agency.

Fans can anticipate an exclusive preview of the album and live performances by Kim during his fan concert, titled "Sparkling Eternity," scheduled for December 29 and December 30.
Kim Jong-hyeon, who debuted in 2012 as a member of the boy band NU'EST under Pledis Entertainment, gained recognition through the second season of the cable network Mnet's audition program, "Produce 101," in 2017. The group concluded its activities in March 2022. In May 2022, Kim signed an exclusive contract with his current agency, Evermore Entertainment. In addition to his musical pursuits, Kim has taken on roles in TV shows, including "Let Me Be Your Knight" (2021–22) and "Sound Candy."
