The Galerie Robert Chata at Château Coquelle in Dunkerque is showcasing a remarkable exhibition titled "Dancing in the Rain" by artist Anne-Charlotte Moulard, running through December 20, 2025. This compelling display has been selected as the week's highlight and is presented as part of the "Un air de fête" program, supported by the Fondation des Petits Frères des Pauvres.

The exhibition emerged from an innovative artistic residency that Moulard conducted with isolated elderly individuals in the community. During this collaborative process, the artist worked closely with seniors to transform their personal memories into a series of imaginary portraits that blend poetry, memory, and symbolic power.

"This series was born from an artistic residency that I conducted with isolated elderly people," Moulard explained. "Together, we reinvented their memories in the form of imaginary portraits, mixing poetry, memory and symbolic power." The project represents a unique approach to art-making that prioritizes intergenerational collaboration and the preservation of personal histories through visual storytelling.

The exhibition is housed at Château Coquelle, located on Rue de Belfort in Dunkerque, and offers visitors an opportunity to experience how art can serve as a bridge between generations while honoring the experiences of elderly community members. The show will remain on display until December 20, 2025, giving art enthusiasts and the general public ample time to explore Moulard's sensitive and imaginative interpretation of memory and human connection.
