Hybe Reveals International Girl Band "KATSEYE" Lineup Following Global Audition

Six Members From Four Countries Chosen in Final Round of "The Debut: Dream Academy" Audition

Hybe, the parent company of BTS's management agency BigHit, announced the lineup for its newly formed girl band, "KATSEYE," comprised of six members hailing from four different countries. The selection was made during the final round of the global audition, "The Debut: Dream Academy," held in Hollywood, United States.

The six members chosen to debut as KATSEYE are Sophia from the Philippines, Yoonchae from South Korea, Manon from Switzerland, and three members from the United States: Lara, Megan, and Daniela. Hybe collaborated with Geffen Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, for the debut of this international girl band through the global audition.

Out of 120,000 candidates worldwide, twenty contestants were selected to participate in the audition, with the final round featuring 10 finalists competing for a spot in the debut lineup. The chosen members will now commence preparations for their debut, and Hybe plans to release details about the debut schedule in the future.

In addition to the debut announcement, Hybe is set to unveil a Netflix documentary next year, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the growth stories of the girl band members.
