Galaxy Corporation Clarifies Relationship Status as Fans Fuel Speculation

Over the weekend, rumors circulated about a potential romantic relationship between G-Dragon and former Miss Korea runner-up Kim Go-eun. However, G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, issued a statement on Sunday, asserting that the two are "not in a romantic relationship" and categorizing them as "simply good friends who have multiple mutual friends."

Fans began speculating about a romantic connection between G-Dragon and Kim Go-eun after the pair was seen together in July at a Paris Saint-Germain football match in Osaka, Japan. Kim Go-eun, 12 years younger than G-Dragon, achieved the runner-up position in the 2022 Miss Korea beauty pageant.

G-Dragon, a member of the iconic boy band Big Bang since their debut in 2006 under YG Entertainment, concluded his exclusive contract with the company in June. Subsequently, he signed an exclusive contract with his new agency, Galaxy Corporation.

Following his exoneration from illegal drug use charges in December, G-Dragon established the Juspeace Foundation, an anti-drug foundation. These developments come amidst continued public interest in the personal and professional life of the influential South Korean artist.
