C. Parker Gallery is presenting a groundbreaking exhibition titled "Hope and Reverence" featuring the acclaimed nature photographers Cristina Mittermeier and Paul Nicklen at 104 Central Park South in New York City. The exhibition, which runs through October 5, 2025, marks the first time Mittermeier and Nicklen have presented a joint exhibition of such magnitude in New York. The exhibition's name draws inspiration from the titles of their current art book projects: "Hope" by Cristina Mittermeier and "Reverence" by Paul Nicklen.

The gallery exhibition showcases more than 40 works, with several pieces being displayed for the first time to the public. Among the featured works are previously unseen pieces from their latest expedition to Africa, offering viewers a rare glimpse into the photographers' most recent artistic endeavors. The exhibition represents a significant moment in contemporary nature photography, bringing together two of the field's most celebrated artists.

Beyond the gallery walls, both artists have been actively engaged in high-profile environmental and cultural events. Mittermeier was invited to speak at the World Economic Forum's cultural roundtable during New York Climate Week, following her earlier presentation at the WEF's flagship annual gathering in Davos this year. During their visit to New York this month, the artists were also invited to participate in the Atmos Blue Renaissance event at the prestigious Frick Collection, which focused on solutions for a living ocean.

The artists' commitment to environmental advocacy extends to their participation in diplomatic events. On the same evening as the Frick Collection event, they will represent their foundation SeaLegacy.org at an event hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron. This gathering aims to announce major advances regarding the High Seas Treaty mission to create marine protected areas worldwide, highlighting the intersection of art and environmental policy.

"Our work has always aimed to connect people to the beauty and fragility of the natural world, and there is no better time to engage in this dialogue than right now," stated Paul Nicklen. His words underscore the urgency and relevance of their artistic mission in today's environmental climate.

Cristina Mittermeier emphasized the exhibition's deeper purpose, explaining, "Hope and Reverence are, in essence, a celebration of the natural world. This exhibition is an invitation to pause, to feel, and to see the planet with fresh eyes." She added, "Through art, we can remember everything that is still beautiful and deserves to be protected."

The exhibition at C. Parker Gallery continues through October 5, 2025, at 104 Central Park South. More information about the exhibition and the gallery can be found at www.cparkergallery.com. This major presentation offers New York audiences an unprecedented opportunity to experience the combined artistic vision of two of the world's most influential nature photographers.
