Seongjong, also known as Lee Seong-jong, saw the conclusion of his contract with agency SPK Entertainment on March 29 at midnight, following a ruling by a local court earlier this year. The decision came after Seongjong filed for an injunction against his exclusive contract with SPK Entertainment, citing alleged non-payment and budgetary issues related to his music activities, as stated by his PR agency, W&.

According to W&, Seongjong's legal action is ongoing, with a lawsuit demanding two years' worth of payments from SPK Entertainment. Seongjong had signed with SPK Entertainment in August 2022 but claimed to have not received proper compensation since then.

Seongjong initially debuted as a member of the boy band Infinite in 2010 under Woollim Entertainment.
