The K-pop girl group (G)I-dle will release its seventh extended play (EP), “I Sway,” on July 8, according to an announcement by their agency Cube Entertainment on Monday. This release will follow their second studio album “Two,” which sold over 1.53 million copies in its first week, marking the group’s second million-seller. The album ranks as the fifth highest first-week sales for a K-pop girl group album.
The album “Two” also achieved notable chart success, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and marking the group’s fourth appearance on the chart. The lead tracks from the album, “Super Lady” and “Fate,” charted on Billboard’s Global Excl. US at No. 165 and No. 200, respectively.
In addition to the new EP, (G)I-dle will embark on an international tour starting in August, beginning with a two-day concert in Seoul. The "iDOL" tour will cover 14 cities worldwide, including Tokyo, Bangkok, Houston, and Melbourne.
(G)I-dle's seventh EP "I Sway" will be released on July 8, 2024, followed by an international tour starting in August.
