The Korean Cultural Center in Brazil is presenting a comprehensive exhibition titled "Introducing Our Korean Cultural Center" from September 13 to September 28, offering visitors an in-depth look at the institution's remarkable journey since its establishment in 2013. The exhibition serves as both a celebration of the center's achievements and a reflection on how Korean culture has successfully integrated into Brazilian society over the past decade.
The special showcase is hosted by the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil with support from the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in São Paulo. The exhibition features carefully curated photographs documenting significant moments in the center's history, alongside notable artworks from recent exhibitions that have helped bridge Korean and Brazilian cultures. This comprehensive display aims to illustrate the meaningful process through which Korean cultural traditions have taken root and flourished in Brazil.
In his opening message, the Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil emphasized the exhibition's significance in documenting the institution's evolution. "This exhibition was designed to present the path the institution has taken since its foundation in 2013 up to the present day," the director stated. "We selected photos that capture significant and memorable moments, as well as works featured in recent exhibitions." The director noted that the exhibition will be displayed for only 17 days, encouraging visitors to create wonderful memories during their visit.
The director also expressed profound gratitude to the community that has supported the center throughout its journey. "I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported the CCCB," he said. "During my time as director, I was able to work with joy thanks to the affection and interest of all in the institution and in Korean culture." He emphasized the center's ongoing commitment to contributing to São Paulo's cultural diversity and bringing happiness to the Brazilian people.
