A group of approximately ten graffiti artists spent Sunday creating new artwork on the walls of the Spain Bridge in Jurançon, France. The artists covered the bridge structure with Halloween-themed drawings and designs, transforming the concrete surfaces near the Eaux-Vives stadium parking area into a colorful display.
Passers-by first noticed the distinctive smell of spray paint in the air, followed by music that seemed to be coming from the bridge area. The artists were working throughout the day, systematically covering the walls of the architectural structure with their seasonal artwork. One particularly striking piece features a zombie that appears to be emerging directly from the bridge wall, creating a three-dimensional illusion.
The Halloween-themed graffiti represents a departure from typical street art in the area. The artists focused specifically on spooky imagery appropriate for the season, with the zombie mural serving as the centerpiece of their collective work. The artwork spans multiple sections of the bridge walls, creating an extensive display visible to pedestrians and drivers passing through the area.
"We're just putting some color on the walls," explained one of the participating artists, describing their approach to the project. The group appeared to be working in a coordinated effort, with music playing as they created their designs throughout the day. The timing of the project, completed on a Sunday, allowed the artists to work without major traffic disruptions in the area.
The new graffiti has transformed the appearance of the Spain Bridge, turning what was previously plain concrete into a vibrant canvas of Halloween-inspired street art. The artwork is located adjacent to the Eaux-Vives stadium parking area, making it highly visible to sports fans and local residents who frequent the location.
